It’s definitely winter. I didn’t want to admit it, but it’s cold. It’s freezing. Ice age is here! It wasn’t that bad on Saturday, when we went for a long walk around the city. But I can’t keep saying that it’s not that cold…because it is that cold!
And I was totally unprepared for this kind of weather. Well, not totally. I was just missing some gloves or mittens. How I could survive until now without something to keep my hands warm is a mystery. I guess I was right by saying “It’s not that cold!” 😉
I wanted to knit a pair of mittens, but if I start now…by the time I finish them it will be already
summer spring! 🙂 So I just bought them. They look like they’re hand-made (but they’re not). Will they keep me warm as my old (hand-made by me!) mittens did?
At last winter has come!
On Thursday it snowed all day, and now it’s cold and icy. To enjoy a nice freezing Saturday afternoon there’s no better way than a walk in the park…and a hot chocolate with whipped cream once you get home! 🙂
Still not snowing here in Milan (not yet!), but WordPress has provided its bloggers with a very cool and snowy feature. So let it snow here on Noises and sweet airs, let it snow on the windmills!
The picture was taken in July, and maybe snow is a bit out-of-place. But the weather in the Netherlands can be quite strange, so…let it snow! let it snow! let it snow!
Is it December already? Are winter and christmas already around the corner? Apparently so. Even though if I look outside the window, it doesn’t look very wintry yet. Hopefully we’ll have some snow soon. I love snow!
Anyway, I can’t do much about the weather, but I can create a little christmas atmosphere. So I’ve decided to have my own virtual advent calendar and post something holidays-related every day until xmas day.
I didn’t do so well with posting everyday before, but if you’ve failed once, it doesn’t mean you’re going to fail again.
So let’s the countdown begin. It’s going to look a lot like christmas!
